The Goshen Clay Artists Guild was formed in 1998, when a group of local artists with varying degrees of expertise decided to join together and share studio space, ideas, and techniques. Thus the guild was formed, and we've been growing steadily ever since. In 2004 we had a building constructed solely for our art, located at 212 W. Washington St.
The guild offers beginner and intermediate classes, open to the public 4 times a year, for 3 month sessions. Our instructors are all well qualified, and extrememly helpful. Learn to throw on the potter's wheel.
Twice a year we open our studio space to the public in our semi-annual show and sale. We now coincide our Fall show with the Goshen Open Studio Tour.
The Annual Soup Bowl Project always draws a tremendous crowd. Join us in late February to help combat hunger, and donate to a local charity. Get a meal and a handmade bowl for your generosity. See the events page for more information. |
